The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 35th minute, Nevşehirspor's Cipriano Proença ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brian Fumey. Brian Fumey yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Cipriano Proença blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brian Fumey having to make a save. Brian Fumey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cipriano Proença in the 39th minute. When Roncourt's Lv Xiao Zhi in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nevşehirspor's goalie prevented a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when J.P. Kapar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ragnar Åberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brian Fumey having to make a save. In the 83rd minute Ragnar Åberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Fumey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Ragnar Åberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brian Fumey. Roncourt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ragnar Åberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Brian Fumey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Frasquito in the 93rd minute of play. There was no doubt that Nevşehirspor were the better team. Nevşehirspor's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
