The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7thth minute of the game Matej Tásler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Green Horses's Theodosis Kassapis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th match minute, Green Horses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Babbis Tolias to maneuver through the defense. Binjamin Provoost made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apostolos Mavrokordatos in the 10th minute. Apostolos Mavrokordatos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Binjamin Provoost made a huge save. In the 11th minute, Loukas Brizolakis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Binjamin Provoost. The goal made the score 1-0. Notis Bartzokas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Binjamin Provoost skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 15th minute, FC Gladiators Milošová's Erik Slovák seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Erik Slovák the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Gladiators Milošová protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Erik Slovák had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 15th minute, one of FC Gladiators Milošová:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Gladiators Milošová. Binjamin Provoost had in the 17thth minute some difficulties stopping Demis Mitsis's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Binjamin Provoost made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apostolos Mavrokordatos in the 19th minute of play. Juraj Šesták charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juraj Šesták the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd minute, Apostolos Mavrokordatos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Binjamin Provoost was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Qiao Feng Le kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Binjamin Provoost showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apostolos Mavrokordatos, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Konstantinos D Artagnan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theodosis Kassapis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bohdan Faško in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.
The wind increased when Matej Tásler made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Apostolos Mavrokordatos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Binjamin Provoost was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 56th minute Apostolos Mavrokordatos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Binjamin Provoost saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bohdan Faško sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Notis Bartzokas made a precise shot to the right of Binjamin Provoost. FC Gladiators Milošová's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Binjamin Provoost took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apostolos Mavrokordatos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Gladiators Milošová's Binjamin Provoost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Notis Bartzokas in the 82nd minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Notis Bartzokas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Binjamin Provoost. FC Gladiators Milošová's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Notis Bartzokas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. Matej Tásler scored 8-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Theodosis Kassapis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bohdan Faško received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Theodosis Kassapis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Green Horses's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
