The referee showed Severiano Guib the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th minute, Severiano Guib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gervasio Osmundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Felipo Ramirez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Saturno's Mauro Illan got a free kick in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kepa Machado got free with Son Downs in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute Severiano Guib shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipo Ramirez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saturno's Son Downs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Saturno from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

SC Pfullendorf's Loramendi Jurado was substituted for Gudesteo Santiago. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kepa Machado made a kick off. Ioseba Candela lost his temper 53 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 52 minutes into the game, one of SC Pfullendorf:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A collision led to Saturno getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Filomeno Odol hit a great ball. If Kepa Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. Dionisio Maore helped the player get up and apologised. In the 98th minute, Dionisio Maore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gaston Indalecio fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saturno's protests and gave Gaston Indalecio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SC Pfullendorf booed when Saturno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaston Indalecio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 100 played minutes, SC Pfullendorf's Marquez Tobias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Son Downs came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Pfullendorf reached it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Saturno walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
