In the 22ndth minute of the game Timoteo Rioja who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Green Squad FC's Hugo Diniz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hugo Diniz made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Timoteo Rioja sent off a good shot on target. Alonzo Ipar struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Hugo Diniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tecka Viejo Nomás. Timoteo Rioja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Diniz stood somewhat misplaced when Timoteo Rioja came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 29 minute. 33 minutes into the game, Moises Galindo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hugo Diniz. Moises Galindo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After having played for 38 minutes, Moises Galindo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tecka Viejo Nomás's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Galindo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Green Squad FC's Hugo Diniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Rioja in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Green Squad FC's zone, Timoteo Rioja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Diniz came out of the goal and Timoteo Rioja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Willian Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Green Squad FC got a freekick which was hit by Válter Barreto. Hugo Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timoteo Rioja in the 54th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Válter Barreto made a precise shot to the right of Nicanor Romelio. Tecka Viejo Nomás's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Timoteo Rioja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tecka Viejo Nomás's supporters rose to their feet, but Timoteo Rioja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hugo Diniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Green Squad FC's goalkeeper Hugo Diniz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Moises Galindo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugo Diniz. Green Squad FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Galindo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. A collision led to Green Squad FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Válter Barreto hit a great ball. In the 84th minute of the match Moises Galindo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Diniz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Alonzo Ipar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alonzo Ipar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Diniz having to interfere.
