Juan Perrando was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Poetass FC's Raí Massa got a free kick in the 9th minute. Amílton Paraíba made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Jacobo Magdaleno sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacobo Magdaleno in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amílton Paraíba saved Poetass FC from getting behind. Amílton Paraíba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jacobo Magdaleno in the 22nd minute. Evelio Froylan kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. NUMBA's Juan Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani Mendes in the 26th minute of play. Apolo Piarres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amílton Paraíba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Victor Vidal charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Vidal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of NUMBA booed when Poetass FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Perrando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Mendes in the 38th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Poetass FC got a freekick which was hit by Dani Portillo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Magdaleno in the 40th minute of play forced Poetass FC's goalkeeper Amílton Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. NUMBA's Juan Perrando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani Mendes in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Evelio Froylan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NUMBA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poetass FC the free kick. The supporters of Poetass FC booed when NUMBA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Froylan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Poetass FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernani Mendes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Dani Portillo came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Poetass FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dani Portillo couldn't finish the play. Juan Perrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dani Portillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacobo Magdaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Amílton Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Magdaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amílton Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Gilabert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Ernani Mendes took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Juan Perrando to make any attempt to save it. Amílton Paraíba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Jacindo in the 69th minute of the match. In the 74th minute Ernani Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Perrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Americo Gilabert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Poetass FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Dário Pernambucano hit a great ball. Jacobo Magdaleno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Jacobo Magdaleno made a precise shot to the right of Amílton Paraíba. Poetass FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Jacobo Magdaleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amílton Paraíba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacobo Magdaleno went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Jacobo Magdaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot. NUMBA's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacobo Magdaleno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amílton Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
