After some careless play in the Família Ressaca MZ defense, Sandrinho Messias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fábio Meirelles. The Família Ressaca MZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fábio Meirelles should have stopped the shot. Claudinho Saldanha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fábio Meirelles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Dani Portillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poetass FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dani Portillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Amílton Paraíba successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 28th minute of the match, Wanderson Cerezo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Amílton Paraíba saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
