Roman Frisco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Boldrini in the 11th minute of the match. Clemente Varela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Lucero, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Alfredo Loyola fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MarquinhosEC's protests and gave Alfredo Loyola a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to MarquinhosEC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Alfredo Loyola hit a great ball. Justo Lucero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Varela having to interfere. Rubinho Valle kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Erubiel Haimar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Dog F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Erubiel Haimar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Jerico in the 25th minute of play forced MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Clemente Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MarquinhosEC's Clemente Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Jerico in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Haimar in the 30th minute of play forced MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Clemente Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Black Dog F.C.'s Roman Frisco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Black Dog F.C. from getting a goal against them. Ulisses Carioca's late challenge caught a Black Dog F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulisses Carioca helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd match minute, MarquinhosEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Carioca to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of Black Dog F.C. booed when MarquinhosEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Cayetano Jerico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Varela was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcos Boldrini to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Black Dog F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Igor Domiku. After a rather tough play, Black Dog F.C.'s Melquiades Silban got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Anacleto Barto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute Justo Lucero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cayetano Jerico struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Clemente Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Dog F.C.. The Black Dog F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Black Dog F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
