With his leg Jan-Ove Vesterberg managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Cabildo FC's Pedro Alcázar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pedro Alcázar did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Jan-Ove Vesterberg 7 minutes into the match. Juan Manuel Riquelme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Vesterberg having to interfere. Pedro Alcázar in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jan-Ove Vesterberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Juan Manuel Riquelme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Ove Vesterberg having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Cabildo FC's Juan Manuel Riquelme slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jan-Ove Vesterberg. That made the score 2-0 after 13 minutes of play. If Bertil Andreasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Manuel Riquelme in the 22nd minute of play forced IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Vesterberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Ove Vesterberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juan Manuel Riquelme showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 28 minute of play. Ricard Campbell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Kvarnström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Cabildo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Kvarnström came free, but Ricard Campbell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. IFK Stockholm's Jan-Ove Vesterberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save IFK Stockholm from getting a goal against them. Jan-Ove Vesterberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Juan Manuel Riquelme showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-1 in the 47 minute of play.
Pedro Alcázar took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan-Ove Vesterberg. Jan-Ove Vesterberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. IFK Stockholm's Sverker Skarkman managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fernán Albuerne in the 59 minute of the game. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cabildo FC! The referee gave IFK Stockholm a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bertil Andreasson, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cabildo FC's Ricard Campbell. 7-2. 79 minutes into the game, Cabildo FC's Pedro Alcázar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jan-Ove Vesterberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-2. 82 minutes into the match, IFK Stockholm's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Manuel Riquelme came free, but Jan-Ove Vesterberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Cabildo FC's Juan Manuel Riquelme in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 88 minutes Cabildo FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bertil Andreasson who took care of the corner kick. Bertil Andreasson made a great header on IFK Stockholm's corner, it was just that Cabildo FC's Ricard Campbell managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind IFK Stockholm's goalkeeper Jan-Ove Vesterberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Cabildo FC booed when IFK Stockholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 99 match minutes in a wonderful position. Magne Högström didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the IFK Stockholm players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cabildo FC.
