Eric Allison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Boldrini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umberto Moura couldn't finish the play. After having played for 13 minutes, Marcos Boldrini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MarquinhosEC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Boldrini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Beech United's Benjamin Welch sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clemente Varela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Célio Matorin in the 25th minute of play forced Beech United's goalkeeper Eric Allison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Marcos Boldrini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Allison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Varela stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bobby Baxter's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Eric Allison made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Alfredo Loyola sent off a good shot on target. In the 38th minute, MarquinhosEC's Marcos Boldrini dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 41st minute, Marcos Boldrini made a precise shot to the right of Eric Allison. Beech United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Eric Allison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Boldrini, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 60th minute Alfredo Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eric Allison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bobby Baxter during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Beech United defense, Marcos Boldrini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eric Allison. The Beech United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eric Allison should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guto de Toledo during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Guto de Toledo hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Eric Allison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 82 minutes into the match, Beech United's goal looked a bit too open when Célio Matorin came free, but Eric Allison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Célio Matorin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
