After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MarquinhosEC! Edward Lichucki scored 2-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clemente Varela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 9th match minute, MarquinhosEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umberto Moura to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the game, MarquinhosEC's Umberto Moura nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lukasz Zaworski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Alfredo Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of DS ACADEMY TEAM booed when MarquinhosEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Lichucki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Umberto Moura came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the MarquinhosEC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umberto Moura couldn't finish the play. After 31 minutes of play, DS ACADEMY TEAM's Filip Brataniec made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clemente Varela was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Filip Brataniec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Filip Brataniec managed to get in a good position for a shot. DS ACADEMY TEAM's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Brataniec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guto de Toledo charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guto de Toledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edward Lichucki during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, DS ACADEMY TEAM's Edward Lichucki got a free kick in the 40th minute. The supporters of MarquinhosEC booed when DS ACADEMY TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Klawki didn't get a good kick on the ball. MarquinhosEC's Guto de Toledo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for DS ACADEMY TEAM. In the 45th minute Célio Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukasz Zaworski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes MarquinhosEC got a freekick which was hit by Umberto Moura. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The crowd rose to their feet as MarquinhosEC's Umberto Moura slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lukasz Zaworski. That made the score 3-2 after 51 minutes of play. DS ACADEMY TEAM's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Marcos Boldrini 55 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-3. Edward Lichucki scored 4-3 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clemente Varela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Edward Lichucki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Varela was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. 62 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Lichucki came free, but Clemente Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clemente Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filip Brataniec in the 63rd minute of play. After 66 played minutes MarquinhosEC got a freekick which was hit by Célio Matorin. 72 minutes in the game, Célio Matorin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lukasz Zaworski having to interfere. After a rather tough play, DS ACADEMY TEAM's Tobiasz Hejza got a free kick in the 74th minute. MarquinhosEC's Clemente Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Brataniec in the 76th minute of play. Célio Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukasz Zaworski having to interfere. Lukasz Zaworski made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Umberto Moura sent off a good shot on target. Tiago Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiago Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. MarquinhosEC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
