With a little luck, PIAUÍ FC's Italo Franklin got control of the ball when Alfredas Klenkys tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Jotautas Bakštys came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Savage Hippo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jotautas Bakštys couldn't finish the play. Italo Franklin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deividas Laužikas, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Alfredas Klenkys received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Italo Franklin came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfredas Klenkys slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 78th minute. Italo Franklin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jotautas Bakštys in the 85th minute of the match. When Jotautas Bakštys came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Savage Hippo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jotautas Bakštys couldn't finish the play. Jotautas Bakštys might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Italo Franklin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jotautas Bakštys ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute, Dangiras Rutkus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Naglis Jonušas came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by PIAUÍ FC's Maurinho Tavares. But to his dismay, Maurinho Tavares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Savage Hippo players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
