Witalis Wojtowicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luis Santana's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucio Luix during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Santa Maradona's Cristo Haritz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waclaw Imbor in the 12th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Benigno Vermudo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santa Maradona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Markowy Team the free kick. Benigno Vermudo hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. When Wincenty Kaznocha fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Markowy Team's protests and gave Wincenty Kaznocha a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 minutes, Ubaldo Bonifaco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santa Maradona and the Markowy Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 played minutes Santa Maradona got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Bonifaco. 25 minutes into the match, Markowy Team's Iwan Niemojewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cristo Haritz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Baldomiro Ariando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristo Haritz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waclaw Imbor, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Iwan Niemojewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristo Haritz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Aureliusz Lepper hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the match, Markowy Team's goalkeeper Witalis Wojtowicz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benigno Vermudo. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Witalis Wojtowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benigno Vermudo in the 42nd minute. After 44 minutes Markowy Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erasmo Berasko who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Waclaw Imbor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Markowy Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Waclaw Imbor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristo Haritz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benigno Vermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Witalis Wojtowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristo Haritz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwan Niemojewski in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Luis Santana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Witalis Wojtowicz. Markowy Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Santana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Markowy Team's Witalis Wojtowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Santana in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Lucio Luix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Maradona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Luix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benigno Vermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Vermudo in the 82nd minute of play forced Markowy Team's goalkeeper Witalis Wojtowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Witalis Wojtowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Vermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Markowy Team's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Santana came free, but Witalis Wojtowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santa Maradona walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
