The crowd rose to their feet as Alexandrie CF's Ívan James slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zeki Azimli. That made the score 2-1 after 27 minutes of play. Rodrigo Moras short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Zeki Azimli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Renaud Berthier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Okan Melih in the 32nd minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Alexandrie CF's goal looked a bit too open when Seyhun Yalazan came free, but Renaud Berthier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Okan Melih managed to get in a good position for a shot. ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's supporters rose to their feet, but Okan Melih was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renaud Berthier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexandrie CF's Renaud Berthier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okan Melih in the 45th minute of play.

After a defensive mix-up in ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's zone, Fábio Cardoso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeki Azimli came out of the goal and Fábio Cardoso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renaud Berthier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Okan Melih, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's Saadettin Başesgioğlu got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Zeki Azimli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ívan James, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 75 minutes into the match, Ívan James had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeki Azimli. ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ívan James was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Okan Melih's late challenge caught a Alexandrie CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Okan Melih helped the player get up and apologised. After 78 played minutes ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ got a freekick which was hit by Okan Melih. In the 83rd minute, Şehzade Sümer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 4-3 when Okan Melih sped through Alexandrie CF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Renaud Berthier. In the 94th match minute, ЧΙ ƝƖ̇ƘƠMЄƊƖ̇ƛ ƑƘ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seyhun Yalazan to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Alexandrie CF fully deserved thier win.
