With his leg Cristo Haritz managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Markowy Team's Wincenty Kaznocha fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luis Santana in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Witalis Wojtowicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Klement Lipinski got free with Cristo Haritz in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 10 minutes, Roberto Boniel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santa Maradona and the Markowy Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Markowy Team booed when Santa Maradona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Boniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Klement Lipinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Markowy Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Klement Lipinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristo Haritz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Witalis Wojtowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Boniel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Apolo Elequemedo made a precise shot to the right of Witalis Wojtowicz. Markowy Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Markowy Team's Edgar Ziomkowski got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute, Apolo Elequemedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Witalis Wojtowicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Witalis Wojtowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Elequemedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Markowy Team's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Elequemedo came free, but Witalis Wojtowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luis Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witalis Wojtowicz having to interfere. After 43 minutes of play, Markowy Team's Klement Lipinski made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristo Haritz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Klement Lipinski fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Markowy Team's protests and gave Klement Lipinski a yellow card for diving instead. After 48 played minutes Markowy Team got a freekick which was hit by Klement Lipinski. Luis Santana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Markowy Team players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Santa Maradona were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luis Santana made a kick off. The supporters of Markowy Team booed when Santa Maradona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Abaurre didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Apolo Elequemedo got free with Witalis Wojtowicz in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Apolo Elequemedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Witalis Wojtowicz was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Apolo Elequemedo sped through Markowy Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Witalis Wojtowicz. Markowy Team's Witalis Wojtowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Santana in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 played minutes Santa Maradona got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Elequemedo. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julian Niguel during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Markowy Team booed when Santa Maradona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Niguel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kryspin Maurycy struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Cristo Haritz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Markowy Team. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Maradona's zone, Klement Lipinski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Haritz came out of the goal and Klement Lipinski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, Apolo Elequemedo notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Markowy Team's Witalis Wojtowicz. Witalis Wojtowicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute, Roberto Boniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Kryspin Maurycy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Markowy Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Kryspin Maurycy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristo Haritz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Santa Maradona defense, Klement Lipinski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristo Haritz. The Santa Maradona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristo Haritz should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Santa Maradona walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
