Isidoro Veto struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Anselmo Tabb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Sports Pergamino. After 16 played minutes Atletico Calamar Saavedra got a freekick which was hit by Silvio Miro. With his leg Paulo Napier managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Guaberto Peruanton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 22ndth minute of the game Jonathan Sidro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atletico Calamar Saavedra's Anselmo Tabb was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anselmo Tabb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Sidro's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. When Delmiro Mambru came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Atletico Calamar Saavedra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmiro Mambru couldn't finish the play. In the 38th match minute, Club Sports Pergamino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Frechoso to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Napier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blas Quiroga went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Teodosio Columbo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jonathan Sidro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anselmo Tabb was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Blas Quiroga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulo Napier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Columbo in the 61st minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Club Sports Pergamino got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Eguen. In the 68th match minute, Club Sports Pergamino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Frechoso to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Napier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Quiroga, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After 75 minutes, Patricio Frechoso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Sports Pergamino and the Atletico Calamar Saavedra players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes Club Sports Pergamino got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Frechoso. Guaberto Peruanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Sports Pergamino's Paulo Napier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvio Miro in the 82nd minute of play. In the 90th minute, Delmiro Mambru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the match, Guaberto Peruanton notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Club Sports Pergamino's Paulo Napier. Paulo Napier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There was no doubt that Atletico Calamar Saavedra were the better team. Atletico Calamar Saavedra's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
