The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rakı Sevenler FC's Çelikan Safi got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aygün Demirtaş struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Sérgio Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mustafa İzzet Rasih, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. A collision led to Rakı Sevenler FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Mustafa İzzet Rasih hit a great ball. With a little luck, Rakı Sevenler FC's Egemen Gencalp got control of the ball when Abidin Onar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th minute, LA VIOLA's Abidin Onar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Egemen Gencalp. Egemen Gencalp yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Abidin Onar in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Egemen Gencalp, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 27 minutes of play, Rakı Sevenler FC's Çelikan Safi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sérgio Urbano was left in no man's land by his defense there! LA VIOLA:s Sérgio Urbano showed great skill when he stopped Stavros Stamatakos:s penalty. Egemen Gencalp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abidin Onar in the 36th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter Tonhauser in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sérgio Urbano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Çelikan Safi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sérgio Urbano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 51st minute, Rakı Sevenler FC's Peter Tonhauser dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Peter Tonhauser sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Egemen Gencalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abidin Onar in the 58th minute of the match. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rakı Sevenler FC's goalkeeper Egemen Gencalp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Rakı Sevenler FC booed when LA VIOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nacho Abril didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mustafa İzzet Rasih got free with Sérgio Urbano in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Max Sundin hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's Abidin Onar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egemen Gencalp narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
