Ademir Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. If Kiko Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Irreal Madrid's Sílvio Penha threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edson Prestes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Edson Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Penha having to interfere. Joélson Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Penha having to interfere. A collision led to Zemantauskas FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Igor Britto hit a great ball. Edson Prestes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sílvio Penha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Irreal Madrid's Dário Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Gomes in the 43rd minute of play. In the 48th match minute, Zemantauskas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Zemantauskas FC's Sílvio Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kiko Senna in the 53rd minute of play. Sílvio Penha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kiko Senna took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sílvio Penha. Sílvio Penha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Sílvio Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joélson Valladares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko Senna in the 67th minute of play forced Zemantauskas FC's goalkeeper Sílvio Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Joélson Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Davi Mello got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Joélson Valladares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sílvio Penha having to make a save. 77 minutes into the match, Zemantauskas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edson Prestes came free, but Sílvio Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Carlos de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd match minute, Irreal Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson Prestes to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Irreal Madrid getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Edson Prestes hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Irreal Madrid had played much better football throughout.
