Alex Berger charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Berger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alex Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Afonsinho Paiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sílvio Penha was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Premier FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zemantauskas FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Premier FC's Aílton de Queirós got a free kick in the 51st minute. Premier FC's Zé Paulo Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Mello in the 60th minute of play. Zemantauskas FC's Sílvio Penha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Zemantauskas FC from getting a goal against them. Sílvio Penha made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Afonsinho Paiva sent off a good shot on target. After 71 played minutes Zemantauskas FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Eduardo de Brito. In the 72nd minute of the match Egídio Garcia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio Penha showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 75th minute of the match, Dadá da Costa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sílvio Penha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 80 minutes into the game, when Carlos Eduardo de Brito put in a rough tackle. When the final whistle sounded Premier FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Zemantauskas FC.
