After a defensive mix-up in Elite™- FC Galácticos's zone, João Paulo Chaves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastião Garcia came out of the goal and João Paulo Chaves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 79 minutes, João Paulo Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wambalamba FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Paulo Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dário Diniz's late challenge caught a Elite™- FC Galácticos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dário Diniz helped the player get up and apologised. 1-1 became the score in the 89th minute when Cristóvão Maciel elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, Dinei Goiano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wambalamba FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elite™- FC Galácticos the free kick. Dinei Goiano hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Pedro dos Santos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Despite being the better team, Elite™- FC Galácticos failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
