A sloppy throw-in by Candido Ayala in the 7th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italia's Benedicto Lon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Maura in the 8th minute of play forced ☠QUINTERO☠'s goalkeeper Gervasio Pattillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Bourchier, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. After 16th play minutes Francisco Bourchier shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Gilberto Arias and just under the crossbar into goal. 21 minutes into the match, Italia's goal looked a bit too open when Bertrán Jarabran came free, but Gilberto Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaias Maura charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaias Maura the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes Italia got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Maura. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Saravia in the 43rd minute of play forced Italia's goalkeeper Gilberto Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Saravia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciriaco Txatxu was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Fabian Gipuzkoa made a precise shot to the right of Gervasio Pattillo. ☠QUINTERO☠'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 60th match minute, ☠QUINTERO☠ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Saravia to maneuver through the defense. Gilberto Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Saravia in the 67th minute of play. After 70 minutes Italia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Candido Ayala who took care of the corner kick. The corner led ☠QUINTERO☠'s Candido Ayala to fire away a dangerous shot which Gilberto Arias despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of ☠QUINTERO☠ booed when Italia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Txatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Italia's goalkeeper Gilberto Arias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patricio Saravia. With a little luck, Italia's Gilberto Arias got control of the ball when Emanuel Navia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabian Gipuzkoa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gervasio Pattillo. ☠QUINTERO☠'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gervasio Pattillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciriaco Txatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Sebastian Vistruario was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 81 played minutes Italia got a freekick which was hit by Hilario Bilintx. In the 86th minute, Elvio Giraldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When ☠QUINTERO☠'s Bertrán Jarabran in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Florín Campo made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italia's Benedicto Lon. After 94 minutes of play, Italia's Ciriaco Txatxu made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gervasio Pattillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Despite being the better team, ☠QUINTERO☠ failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
