The referee ignored DJVAGALUMY FC.'s protests and gave Abelardo Neiva a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Abelardo Neiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Cristóvão Maciel took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Kléber Abreu to make any attempt to save it. 9 minutes into the match, João Pedro Goiano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kléber Abreu. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Pedro Goiano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 13th minute Hernani Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kléber Abreu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristóvão Maciel's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. A collision led to Elite™- FC Galácticos getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Raphael de Brito hit a great ball. Gino Santos's late challenge caught a DJVAGALUMY FC.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gino Santos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 28th minute Abelardo Neiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastião Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 30 minutes, Ulysses Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elite™- FC Galácticos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulysses Bezerra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Hernani Romero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastião Garcia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Elite™- FC Galácticos defense, Hernani Romero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastião Garcia. The Elite™- FC Galácticos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastião Garcia should have stopped the shot. Raphael de Brito was extremely unlucky when he, in the 43rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 44 played minutes DJVAGALUMY FC. got a freekick which was hit by Ulysses Xavier. In the 46th minute, Elite™- FC Galácticos's Cristóvão Maciel dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abelardo Neiva to make the kick off. DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Kléber Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raphael de Brito in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Jonas Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléber Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Ulysses Xavier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristóvão Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Kléber Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, DJVAGALUMY FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Abreu came free, but Kléber Abreu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Abelardo Neiva could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Sebastião Garcia however easily saved by the left post. João Pedro Goiano took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kléber Abreu. Kléber Abreu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 79thth minute of the game Cristóvão Maciel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DJVAGALUMY FC.'s Kléber Abreu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonas Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Cristóvão Maciel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elite™- FC Galácticos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristóvão Maciel in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kléber Abreu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hernani Romero during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Elite™- FC Galácticos getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Gino Santos hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Abelardo Neiva took a quick shot and it went in 6-2 without a chance for Sebastião Garcia to make any attempt to save it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Elite™- FC Galácticos fully deserved thier win.
