But to his dismay, Flavinho Fontes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 24 minutes into the match, Gleszcz SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Meirelles came free, but Damian Ruszkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliks Smolak kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Damian Ruszkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Meirelles in the 27th minute of play. Feliks Smolak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian Ruszkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavinho Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Guararapes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gleszcz SSA the free kick. In the 43rdth minute of the game Rafael Meirelles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gleszcz SSA's Damian Ruszkowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guararapes's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Feliks Smolak 46 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robertinho Lewandowski was the one to do the kick off. When Guararapes's Flavinho Fontes in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice moves Rafael Meirelles could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Damian Ruszkowski however easily saved by the left post. Abdulkadir Çokman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Gleszcz SSA defense, Cléber Pirani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damian Ruszkowski. The Gleszcz SSA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Ruszkowski should have stopped the shot. After 86 minutes, Cristiano Vargas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guararapes and the Gleszcz SSA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Guararapes getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Cristiano Vargas hit a great ball. Damian Ruszkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cléber Pirani got free with Damian Ruszkowski in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 92 minutes, Delfim Ferreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guararapes and the Gleszcz SSA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 92nd match minute, Guararapes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delfim Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. Robertinho Lewandowski took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Rosa.
