Spectators: 7563 (Terracing: 5673, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rafael Meirelles kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute Flavinho Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Rutenio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Flavinho Fontes came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Guararapes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavinho Fontes couldn't finish the play. Flavinho Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Pablo Rutenio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pablo Rutenio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wiliam Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pablo Rutenio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael Meirelles's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Fontes in the 38th minute of play forced EL TITAN M.P.'s goalkeeper Pablo Rutenio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Meirelles took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Rutenio. Pablo Rutenio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 45th minute Rafael Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Rutenio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Prospero Guilabertus fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EL TITAN M.P.'s protests and gave Prospero Guilabertus a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Guararapes booed when EL TITAN M.P. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Guilabertus didn't get a good kick on the ball. The EL TITAN M.P. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guararapes were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gogo Lopez to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Guararapes got a freekick which was hit by Flavinho Fontes. Rafael Meirelless short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Pablo Rutenio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, EL TITAN M.P.'s Pablo Rutenio got control of the ball when Rafael Meirelles tried to sneak it across the goal line. A well placed Rafael Meirelles short distance shot in the 64th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Santiago Casado kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Flavinho Fontes scored 0-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pablo Rutenio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Guararapes's Dito Tasso was substituted for Vicente Rodrigues. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Fernandez in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Rutenio saved EL TITAN M.P. from getting behind. In the 83rd minute, Rafael Meirelles made a precise shot to the right of Pablo Rutenio. EL TITAN M.P.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. The Guararapes fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Guararapes's Rafael Meirelles looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 92 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Fernandez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pablo Rutenio. Reynaldo Fernandez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Guararapes played a much better game than EL TITAN M.P. and deserved their victory. The EL TITAN M.P. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
