In the 8th minute, Åke Frisk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Saubrigues's Carlos Augusto do Valle got a free kick in the 10th minute. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Knut Blom took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Mathys Mora to make any attempt to save it. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Malte Siöberg took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Mathys Mora to make any attempt to save it. Mathys Mora made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Bengt-Åke Alkvist sent off a good shot on target. Stormur Muren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Augusto do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Kurt Ahlerot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathys Mora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malte Siöberg in the 24th minute of play. If Knut Blom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Åke Frisk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Åke Frisk during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kind of Blue's Åke Frisk got a free kick in the 31st minute. Bengt-Åke Alkvist hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Stormur Muren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frankie Le Van, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Knut Blom had several of the FC Saubrigues's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Mathys Mora as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 43rd minute Frankie Le Van shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stormur Muren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enginsu Lütfullah blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stormur Muren having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Augusto do Valle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Kind of Blue's goal looked a bit too open when Enginsu Lütfullah came free, but Stormur Muren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Knut Blom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 58 minutes into the match, Knut Blom had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mathys Mora. FC Saubrigues's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Knut Blom was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The supporters of Kind of Blue booed when FC Saubrigues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphaël Giacometti didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Kind of Blue's Samuel Asplund tried to score from far away in the 64th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute Frankie Le Van shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stormur Muren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathys Mora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malte Siöberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stormur Muren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enginsu Lütfullah in the 84th minute. A collision led to Kind of Blue getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Malte Siöberg hit a great ball. In the 89th minute Erwan Tripier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stormur Muren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute of the match FC Saubrigues got a corner. Kind of Blue's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alphonse Keita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alphonse Keita made a great header on FC Saubrigues's corner, it was just that Kind of Blue's Stormur Muren managed to reach the ball for a save. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Saubrigues fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! Kind of Blue's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
