INTER de Córdoba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guararapes the free kick. A collision led to INTER de Córdoba getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Desiderio Ladio hit a great ball. Aquiles Erruki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiliam Pitta in the 17th minute of the match. Rafael Meirelless short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Aquiles Erruki to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aquiles Erruki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavinho Fontes in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Wiliam Pitta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquiles Erruki. INTER de Córdoba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wiliam Pitta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 28 minutes into the match, Flavinho Fontes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aquiles Erruki, 2-0. 33 minutes into the match, INTER de Córdoba's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Pitta came free, but Aquiles Erruki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th play minute Rafael Meirelles came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aquiles Erruki. 3-0. After 43 played minutes INTER de Córdoba got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Acevedo. João Vítor Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Erruki having to interfere. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for INTER de Córdoba! INTER de Córdoba:s Aquiles Erruki showed great skill when he stopped João Vítor Esteves:s penalty. 48 minutes into the match, João Vítor Esteves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquiles Erruki. INTER de Córdoba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that João Vítor Esteves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lisandro Guter to strike the kick off in the second half. Ciriaco Gaitano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Paulo Rosa made a huge save. The supporters of INTER de Córdoba booed when Guararapes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Vítor Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquiles Erruki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Meirelles in the 58th minute of play. Flavinho Fontes struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Aquiles Erruki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guararapes. In the 62nd match minute, INTER de Córdoba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Christobal to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavinho Fontes in the 64th minute of play forced INTER de Córdoba's goalkeeper Aquiles Erruki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquiles Erruki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavinho Fontes in the 69th minute of play. Flavinho Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aquiles Erruki having to interfere. Aquiles Erruki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Meirelles in the 73rd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Vicente Rodrigues had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquiles Erruki. INTER de Córdoba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vicente Rodrigues was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Aquiles Erruki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reynaldo Fernandez went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute Rafael Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquiles Erruki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Rafael Meirelles notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of INTER de Córdoba's Aquiles Erruki. Aquiles Erruki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aquiles Erruki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Fernandez in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Guararapes had played much better football throughout.
