Spectators: 7459 (Terracing: 5595, Seating: 1715, VIP seats: 149) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Wilson Tavares made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Mala FC's zone, Mandi Oca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimir Neves came out of the goal and Mandi Oca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vladimir Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Linhares in the 5th minute of play. Laerte da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mala FC's Samuel Dante got a free kick in the 8th minute. Hortêncio Linhares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Vladimir Neves made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maurinho Jacinto during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th minute, Maurinho Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 11 minutes, Hortêncio Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTER FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hortêncio Linhares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mala FC's Samuel Dante got a free kick in the 24th minute. 30 minutes in the game, Hortêncio Linhares fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vladimir Neves having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Mala FC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Dante. When Mandi Oca came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the INTER FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mandi Oca couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mandi Oca got free with Vladimir Neves in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the match, Mala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Linhares came free, but Vladimir Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hortêncio Linhares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimir Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Mala FC's goalkeeper Vladimir Neves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mandi Oca. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hortêncio Linhares was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of INTER FC booed when Mala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inácio Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hortêncio Linhares took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimir Neves. Vladimir Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. When Hortêncio Linhares came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the INTER FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hortêncio Linhares couldn't finish the play. After 63 minutes, Laerte da Mata mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mala FC and the INTER FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Laerte da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. João Carlos Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Mandi Oca sped through Mala FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vladimir Neves. Hortêncio Linhares struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Vladimir Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTER FC. 83 minutes into the match, Mandi Oca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimir Neves. Mala FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mandi Oca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Hortêncio Linhares put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Vladimir Neves. In the 94th minute, Hortêncio Linhares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The INTER FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. INTER FC had played much better football throughout.
