An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Baez in the 4th minute of play forced FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Mathys Mora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 6 minutes into the game, when Alphonse Keita put in a rough tackle. After a defensive mix-up in FC Saubrigues's zone, Rashad Elliott stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathys Mora came out of the goal and Rashad Elliott tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, Tuan Tackett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frankie Le Van fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Crowder having to interfere. Mathys Mora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudy Trotter in the 17th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Rudy Trotter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathys Mora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goal looked a bit too open when Rudy Trotter came free, but Mathys Mora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfred Crowder took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Augusto do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Rudy Trotter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathys Mora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rudy Trotter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Mathys Mora made a huge save. When Frankie Le Van came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the FC Saubrigues fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frankie Le Van couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rashad Elliott during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Creekers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rashad Elliott to maneuver through the defense. FC Saubrigues's Raphaël Giacometti took a good shot, in the 34th minute, which hit the crossbar above Alfred Crowder's head, and flew over the goal. Creekers's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by FC Saubrigues. Fred Renteria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enginsu Lütfullah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of FC Saubrigues booed when Creekers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Baez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Carlos Augusto do Valle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alfred Crowder was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
FC Saubrigues's Frankie Le Van got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alfred Crowder didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frankie Le Van went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 59 minutes into the game, Camille Roca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Saubrigues's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Creekers the free kick. Camille Roca kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tuan Tackett during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tuan Tackett hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Alfred Crowder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frankie Le Van, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 66 minutes Creekers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raphaël Giacometti who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Enginsu Lütfullah managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With a little luck, Creekers's Alfred Crowder got control of the ball when Jean-Pierre Bérot tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd play minute Jean-Pierre Bérot came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alfred Crowder. 0-7. In the 74th match minute, FC Saubrigues was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enginsu Lütfullah to maneuver through the defense.
