After 5 played minutes FC Saubrigues got a freekick which was hit by Frankie Le Van. Vladimir Neves made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Žydrūnas Danielius sent off a good shot on target. 8 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Albuquerque came free, but Mathys Mora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raphaël Giacometti made in the 9th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Žydrūnas Danielius however managed to control. After 13 played minutes Frankie Le Van rounded Mala FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. 21 minutes into the game, Enginsu Lütfullah recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vladimir Neves. Enginsu Lütfullah showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 24th minute Carlos Augusto do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimir Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enginsu Lütfullah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Vladimir Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Washington Berger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mathys Mora was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vladimir Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frankie Le Van, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 minutes Mala FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alphonse Keita who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Carlos Augusto do Valle managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When FC Saubrigues's Carlos Augusto do Valle in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vladimir Neves yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Augusto do Valle in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vladimir Neves saved Mala FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Mala FC's Samuel Dante got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Washington Berger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Mala FC booed when FC Saubrigues was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raphaël Giacometti didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes in the game, Washington Berger fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mathys Mora having to interfere. Vladimir Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frankie Le Van, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute of the match FC Saubrigues got a corner. Mala FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alphonse Keita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Enginsu Lütfullah was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mala FC's goalkeeper Vladimir Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Saubrigues were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Mala FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alphonse Keita took the corner. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilson Tavares during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alphonse Keita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Frankie Le Van had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vladimir Neves. Mala FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frankie Le Van was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in Mala FC's zone, Frankie Le Van stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimir Neves came out of the goal and Frankie Le Van tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vladimir Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Augusto do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. There was no doubt that FC Saubrigues were the better team. FC Saubrigues's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
