Vincente Biggs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Luzea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Rojelio in the 10th minute of play forced Baez FC's goalkeeper Vincente Biggs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Germano made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Belmiro Urtubia sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the game, Anselmo Sarracino threw the ball into play from the sideline. Baez FC's Jon-Ander Bazaes quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Vincente Biggs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Huly in the 15th minute of play. If Rene Luzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belmiro Urtubia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Carlos Germano made a huge save. 20 minutes into the match, Pedro Rojelio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Baez FC's Vincente Biggs. Vincente Biggs was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 26 minutes, Romelio Pascual mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Baez FC and the Club Atlético Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Romelio Pascual hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Baez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Javier Abasolo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute, Eustaquio Jaizki left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A hard shot by Salvador Honesto from long distance, 54 minutes into the match, got Vincente Biggs's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Benicio Ferreccio's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Atlanta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Ferreccio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Baez FC's Benicio Ferreccio got a free kick in the 57th minute. Eustaquio Jaizki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vincente Biggs having to make a save. With his leg Vincente Biggs managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Club Atlético Atlanta's Eustaquio Jaizki fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Eustaquio Jaizki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vincente Biggs was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Vincente Biggs came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Atlanta's Eustaquio Jaizki. But to his dismay, Eustaquio Jaizki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After a rather tough play, Baez FC's Benicio Ferreccio got a free kick in the 68th minute. A collision led to Baez FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jon-Ander Bazaes hit a great ball. Eustaquio Jaizki's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Vincente Biggs on his right side and into the goal. 80 minutes into the game it was 0-6. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anacleto Admon during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vincente Biggs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustaquio Jaizki, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The Baez FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Atlético Atlanta were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
