A collision led to FRANK getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Esteban Ignado hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, BENA FK's Alf Lund got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 41 minutes of play, FRANK's Trond Valla made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaspar Leheren was left in no man's land by his defense there! The BENA FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FRANK were winning 1-4.

Øyvind Martinsen scored 1-5 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaspar Leheren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Geir Mørk struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Gaspar Leheren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FRANK. FRANK's Frank Brorsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Lund in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Trond Valla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaspar Leheren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trond Valla in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Fredric Klint notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of FRANK's Frank Brorsson. Frank Brorsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Øyvind Martinsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Leheren was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Charles Soned lost his temper 77 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 78 played minutes BENA FK got a freekick which was hit by Charles Soned. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alf Lund during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FRANK booed when BENA FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alf Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 2-6 when Øyvind Martinsen sped through BENA FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaspar Leheren. Gaspar Leheren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Runar Selle, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute, FRANK's Øyvind Martinsen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Øyvind Martinsen in the 93rd minute of play forced BENA FK's goalkeeper Gaspar Leheren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as FRANK's Esteban Ignado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gaspar Leheren. That made the score 2-8 after 94 minutes of play.
