In the 42nd minute, Grzegorz Obuchowicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Gdansk36 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. 46 minutes into the match, Marian Ligas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frank Di Cristofaro. OldHighburyInvincibles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marian Ligas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. The OldHighburyInvincibles players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Gdansk36 were winning 0-6.

The wind increased when Filiph Inzaghi made the kick off in the second half. Frank Di Cristofaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grzegorz Obuchowicz in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute Filiph Inzaghi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbyszko Makarewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Gdansk36's Grzegorz Obuchowicz got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, OldHighburyInvincibles's goalkeeper Frank Di Cristofaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marian Ligas. Frank Di Cristofaro made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Marian Ligas sent off a good shot on target. 88 minutes into the match, Marian Ligas notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of OldHighburyInvincibles's Frank Di Cristofaro. Frank Di Cristofaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
