Gaspar Markel's late challenge caught a El Pinar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaspar Markel helped the player get up and apologised. 20 minutes into the game, one of Gladiadores:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave El Pinar a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Conrado Rios, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gladiadores's Cesar Romelio. 0-1. The audience was convinced that Claudio Iturri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aztore Sarantes was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Cesar Romelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Lazaeta in the 30th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Costel Eta made a kick off. Lixandro Rossell kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. El Pinar's Aztore Sarantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Mannie in the 55th minute of play. Cesar Romelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sustrai Falceto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigoberto Manso scored 0-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cesar Romelio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gladiadores's Cesar Romelio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Gladiadores from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Gladiadores's Cesar Romelio got control of the ball when Rigoberto Manso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rosario Encalada in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cesar Romelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Gladiadores getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Siro Theobald hit a great ball. Cesar Romelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rosario Encalada, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Cesar Romelio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Borrero in the 71st minute. Paulo Borrero took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cesar Romelio. Cesar Romelio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Gladiadores's Cesar Romelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Lazaeta in the 78th minute of play. Aztore Sarantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Lluis, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Gladiadores's Cesar Romelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulgencio Lazaeta in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Gaspar Markel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 played minutes Gladiadores got a freekick which was hit by Siro Theobald. In the 95th minute of the match Conrado Rios shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cesar Romelio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded El Pinar left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gladiadores.
