Prospero Playo came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by El Pinar's Fulgencio Lazaeta. But to his dismay, Fulgencio Lazaeta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alberto Quiroga's late challenge caught a El Pinar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Quiroga helped the player get up and apologised. Alberto Quiroga hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Sustrai Falceto was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. Trocha Media FC's Adolfo Gizon shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 24th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Aztore Sarantes but with some difficulty. Prospero Playo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Galsino Bradi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquin Felipillo got free with Aztore Sarantes in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Rigoberto Manso came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the El Pinar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Manso couldn't finish the play. Prudencio Claude's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aztore Sarantes firmly grabbed it by the left post. El Pinar's Aztore Sarantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvestre Hustaz in the 36th minute of play. Trocha Media FC's Prospero Playo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Manso in the 38th minute of play. Prospero Playo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Lazaeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Silvestre Hustaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rigoberto Manso was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lixandro Rossell during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes El Pinar got a freekick which was hit by Lixandro Rossell. After a defensive mix-up in El Pinar's zone, Silvestre Hustaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aztore Sarantes came out of the goal and Silvestre Hustaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aztore Sarantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Felipillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th match minute, Trocha Media FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Gizon to maneuver through the defense. Prospero Playo was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Conrado Rios capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Conrado Rios really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Aztore Sarantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Hustaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ildefonso Cambranes fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trocha Media FC's protests and gave Ildefonso Cambranes a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of El Pinar booed when Trocha Media FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Cambranes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silvestre Hustaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aztore Sarantes having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Trocha Media FC's Prudencio Claude sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aztore Sarantes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th match minute, El Pinar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Lazaeta to maneuver through the defense. Trocha Media FC's Prospero Playo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Trocha Media FC from getting a goal against them. Aztore Sarantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Ofelio in the 83rd minute of play. After 84 minutes El Pinar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Adolfo Gizon who took care of the corner kick. Zarando Dolmos thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Aztore Sarantes, a very annoying self made goal in the 84th minute which led to 1-2. If Silvestre Hustaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aztore Sarantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Claude, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Prospero Playo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fulgencio Lazaeta in the 93rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Claude in the 95th minute of play forced El Pinar's goalkeeper Aztore Sarantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Felipillo hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. El Pinar's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
