The audience thought a goal was coming when Rigoberto Manso got free with Reine Stenkvist in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th match minute, El Pinar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Manso to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Lars-Erik Jakobsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aztore Sarantes was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Ture Öberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ninjas FK's Sten Klar got a free kick in the 47th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rigoberto Manso got free with Reine Stenkvist in the 49th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rigoberto Manso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Ninjas FK defense, Fulgencio Lazaeta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Reine Stenkvist. The Ninjas FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Reine Stenkvist should have stopped the shot. After 57 played minutes Ninjas FK got a freekick which was hit by Ture Öberg. Aztore Sarantes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lars-Erik Jakobsson's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Reine Stenkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Borrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars-Erik Jakobsson got free with Aztore Sarantes in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to El Pinar getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Paulo Borrero hit a great ball. Reine Stenkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Lazaeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aaron Kvalfält fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aztore Sarantes having to interfere. Aztore Sarantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars-Erik Jakobsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Reine Stenkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Manso in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute Lars-Erik Jakobsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aztore Sarantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Ninjas FK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented El Pinar from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
