Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eden Champion in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hélder Vinhas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 16 minutes, Eden Champion made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cestarolli FC's Hélder Vinhas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hélder Vinhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clément Bore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cestarolli FC's Patrick Galvão got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute Eden Champion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Vinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Patrick Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cestarolli FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrick Galvão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 29 minutes of play, Les 3 Quilles FC's Clément Bore made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hélder Vinhas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Les 3 Quilles FC were furious when Carlos Bareille was red carded, 32 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 32nd minute of the game. One of Les 3 Quilles FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cestarolli FC:s goal. A collision led to Cestarolli FC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Humberto Tróia hit a great ball. José Pedro Macedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Patrick Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cestarolli FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrick Galvão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulysse Folliot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, Cestarolli FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eden Champion came free, but Hélder Vinhas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eden Champion was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Cestarolli FC's Hélder Vinhas got control of the ball when Léo Verite tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cestarolli FC's Hélder Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clément Bore in the 53rd minute of play. Hélder Vinhas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clément Bore in the 55th minute of the match. Ulysse Folliot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cestarolli FC. Hélder Vinhas made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Ludovic Zhang sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st match minute, Les 3 Quilles FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bakary De Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
