In the 15th minute, Jeff Beck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavian Bogdănescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Wilfredo Rodriguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costin Iorgu, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeff Beck in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. Octavian Bogdănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorian Hoffmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FC Steaua Pildesti players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pindobassu EC were winning 0-3.

In the 51stth minute of the game Nilmar Vargas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Steaua Pildesti's Octavian Bogdănescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Octavian Bogdănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeff Beck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Steaua Pildesti getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Mircea Isvoreanu hit a great ball. Nichifor Vergulescu charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nichifor Vergulescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes Nilmar Vargas rounded FC Steaua Pildesti's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augustin Nechifor in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilfredo Rodriguez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Virgil Dragalina hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After 64 played minutes FC Steaua Pildesti got a freekick which was hit by Virgil Dragalina. In the 75th match minute, Pindobassu EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeff Beck to maneuver through the defense. After 76 played minutes Pindobassu EC got a freekick which was hit by Jeff Beck. Humberto Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Bogdănescu having to interfere. Octavian Bogdănescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nilmar Vargas's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. A collision led to FC Steaua Pildesti getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. George Bidulescu hit a great ball. The FC Steaua Pildesti fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pindobassu EC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
