Les 3 Quilles FC's Eden Champion got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 10 played minutes Les 3 Quilles FC got a freekick which was hit by Léo Verite. The supporters of Les 3 Quilles FC booed when FC Steaua Pildesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costel Corbeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Eden Champion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Steaua Pildesti's Octavian Bogdănescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valer Cobâlcescu charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valer Cobâlcescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Steaua Pildesti getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Valer Cobâlcescu hit a great ball. Les 3 Quilles FC's Jonathan Hart shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 20th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Octavian Bogdănescu but with some difficulty. In the 23rd minute of the match Valer Cobâlcescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulysse Folliot skillfully saved the ball. In the 30th minute, Les 3 Quilles FC's Eden Champion dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. A collision led to Les 3 Quilles FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Clément Bore hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Les 3 Quilles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Iorgu came free, but Ulysse Folliot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Léo Verite got free with Octavian Bogdănescu in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Octavian Bogdănescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eden Champion, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Léo Verite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Bogdănescu having to interfere. Octavian Bogdănescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eden Champion's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 63rd match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costel Corbeanu to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute, Just Dubernet made a precise shot to the right of Octavian Bogdănescu. FC Steaua Pildesti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 72nd minute, Traian Roşu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Steaua Pildesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Octavian Bogdănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eden Champion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eden Champion in the 85th minute of play forced FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Octavian Bogdănescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eden Champion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Bogdănescu having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Les 3 Quilles FC's goalkeeper Ulysse Folliot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augustin Nechifor. With an all-out effort, FC Steaua Pildesti's Ulysse Folliot threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Costin Iorgu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 93 played minutes Les 3 Quilles FC got a freekick which was hit by Clément Bore. Léo Verite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Steaua Pildesti players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Les 3 Quilles FC.
