The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Myggenäs IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Damião Passos came free, but Conny Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conny Mattsson made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Hildeberto Sesimbra sent off a good shot on target. Conny Mattsson was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Igor Colaço capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Igor Colaço really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Frederico Campelo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Conny Mattsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Myggenäs IFK's Conny Mattsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Myggenäs IFK from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute, Academia Monte Gordo's Damião Passos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Conny Mattsson. Conny Mattsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Kristian Björnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateus Teves having to interfere. Conny Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damião Passos in the 20th minute of play. Myggenäs IFK's Conny Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Leonardo in the 22nd minute of play. Conny Mattsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flávio Anjos in the 24th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Marcos Leonardo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Conny Mattsson, 3-0. 34 minutes into the match, Myggenäs IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Leonardo came free, but Conny Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Damião Passos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conny Mattsson. Myggenäs IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damião Passos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 41st minute Marcos Leonardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conny Mattsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conny Mattsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flávio Anjos in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damião Passos in the 43rd minute of play forced Myggenäs IFK's goalkeeper Conny Mattsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Damião Passos made a precise shot to the right of Conny Mattsson. Myggenäs IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ove Alströmmer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Damião Passos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conny Mattsson. Myggenäs IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damião Passos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Myggenäs IFK's Conny Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damião Passos in the 55th minute of play. Fábio Matias hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes of play, Academia Monte Gordo's Hildeberto Sesimbra made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Conny Mattsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Igor Colaço scored 9-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Conny Mattsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Conny Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damião Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Conny Mattsson came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Monte Gordo's Marcos Leonardo. But to his dismay, Marcos Leonardo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. 77 minutes into the game, Marcos Leonardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Conny Mattsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Conny Mattsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hildeberto Sesimbra in the 83rd minute of the match. A collision led to Myggenäs IFK getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Kristian Björnsson hit a great ball. Conny Mattsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Leonardo's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Hildeberto Sesimbra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Conny Mattsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. Conny Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damião Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Myggenäs IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Leonardo came free, but Conny Mattsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Myggenäs IFK's Conny Mattsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damião Passos in the 93rd minute of play. Conny Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hildeberto Sesimbra in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Academia Monte Gordo were the better team. Academia Monte Gordo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
