In the 10th match minute, C.A Gryffindor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Pereira to maneuver through the defense. In the 13thth minute of the game Marcos Leonardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A Gryffindor's Antônio Rezende was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute Academia Monte Gordo were awarded a corner. Flávio Anjos went to the cornerflag to take it. Flávio Anjos made a great header on Academia Monte Gordo's corner, it was just that C.A Gryffindor's Antônio Rezende managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 16th minute, Damião Passos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academia Monte Gordo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 22nd minute Marcos Leonardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A Gryffindor's Antônio Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damião Passos in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Anjos in the 35th minute of play forced C.A Gryffindor's goalkeeper Antônio Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute Damião Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 played minutes C.A Gryffindor got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Loureiro. 38 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Leonardo came free, but Antônio Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the C.A Gryffindor defense, Damião Passos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Antônio Rezende. The C.A Gryffindor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Antônio Rezende should have stopped the shot. When Sebastian Pereira was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. Sebastian Pereira hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Antônio Rezende didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damião Passos went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. The C.A Gryffindor players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Academia Monte Gordo were winning 0-8.

Antônio Rezende was a little too slow when Hildeberto Sesimbra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-9. The supporters of Academia Monte Gordo booed when C.A Gryffindor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio Anjos in the 57th minute of play forced C.A Gryffindor's goalkeeper Antônio Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Academia Monte Gordo booed when C.A Gryffindor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Eduardo Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute Marcos Leonardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A Gryffindor's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Marcos Leonardo scored to the left of an out of position Antônio Rezende, making the score, 0-12. Hildeberto Sesimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A Gryffindor's goalkeeper Antônio Rezende, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute Damião Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlinhos Ortiz's late challenge caught a Academia Monte Gordo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlinhos Ortiz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to C.A Gryffindor getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Carlinhos Ortiz hit a great ball. In the 85th minute of the match, Flávio Anjos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Antônio Rezende saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Antônio Rezende was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcos Leonardo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-13 in the 86 minute of play. Antônio Rezende made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Hildeberto Sesimbra sent off a good shot on target. Damião Passos succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-14 in the 94th playminute.
