Ali Faruk Akar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Michel Duset came out and tried to block the shot, but Ali Faruk Akar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. In the 9th minute Andréas Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bumin Erçin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th match minute, Asarum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Fribäck to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 11 minutes, Ahmet Fikret Tur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AN&KARASİPAHİLER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Fikret Tur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 14 minutes, Isac Lindkvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Asarum and the AN&KARASİPAHİLER players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Asarum! Mustafa Birol Birge placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! With an all-out effort, AN&KARASİPAHİLER's Michel Duset threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mustafa Birol Birge, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 23rd minute, Aaron Lindsten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michel Duset made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Ahmet Fikret Tur sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Asarum booed when AN&KARASİPAHİLER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çağan Derdiyok didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bumin Erçin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andréas Johnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atakan Enfa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michel Duset read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Michel Duset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Birol Birge in the 30th minute of play. Bumin Erçin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Fribäck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmet Fikret Tur was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 33rd minute. AN&KARASİPAHİLER's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Michel Duset took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Birol Birge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Fikret Tur got free with Michel Duset in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ali Faruk Akar hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
Michel Duset came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by AN&KARASİPAHİLER's Ahmet Fikret Tur. But to his dismay, Ahmet Fikret Tur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Mustafa Birol Birge put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Michel Duset. In the 61st minute, Mustafa Birol Birge ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michel Duset was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ahmet Fikret Tur in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michel Duset saved Asarum from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Ali Faruk Akar notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Asarum's Michel Duset. Michel Duset was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 68 minutes, Andréas Johnsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Asarum and the AN&KARASİPAHİLER players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andréas Johnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Asarum's Olof Fribäck got a free kick in the 71st minute. When Karl-Magnus Nyberg fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Asarum's protests and gave Karl-Magnus Nyberg a yellow card for diving instead. 77 minutes into the match, AN&KARASİPAHİLER's Mustafa Birol Birge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Duset narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Michel Duset showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atakan Enfa in the 78th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, AN&KARASİPAHİLER's goalkeeper Bumin Erçin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andréas Johnsson. In the 83rd minute Andréas Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bumin Erçin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mustafa Birol Birge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michel Duset having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mustafa Birol Birge in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Duset prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ove Lundqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Asarum's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Birol Birge came free, but Michel Duset reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asarum's Michel Duset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Birol Birge in the 92nd minute of play. AN&KARASİPAHİLER's Bumin Erçin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save AN&KARASİPAHİLER from getting a goal against them. There was no doubt that AN&KARASİPAHİLER were the better team. AN&KARASİPAHİLER's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
