Michel Duset was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Asarum's Michel Duset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Belmiro Sanches in the 31st minute of play. After 33 played minutes, EDI MZB's Aníbal Velasco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Michel Duset came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in EDI MZB reached it. Gustavo Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Michel Duset tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andréas Johnsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Asarum's Michel Duset proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Asarum from getting a goal against them. EDI MZB's Belmiro Sanches got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. EDI MZB's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
