The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Joachim Olivier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgos Lagos in the 4th minute of play. After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Borussia Ostermoordorf! Joachim Olivier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sofoklis Stamatelos's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Joachim Olivier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sofoklis Stamatelos in the 13th minute of play. After 14 minutes of play, Bazellatin F.C.'s Sofoklis Stamatelos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joachim Olivier was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Borussia Ostermoordorf getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Fritz Rudolf Lüdemann hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Lagos in the 20th minute of play forced Borussia Ostermoordorf's goalkeeper Joachim Olivier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th match minute, Bazellatin F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandros Schizas to maneuver through the defense. Sofoklis Stamatelos took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joachim Olivier. Joachim Olivier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adnan Stork in the 35th minute of play forced Bazellatin F.C.'s goalkeeper Charalambos Anastasakos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Borussia Ostermoordorf's Charalambos Anastasakos threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adnan Stork, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Borussia Ostermoordorf's Joachim Olivier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sofoklis Stamatelos in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Thymios Kastritsis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Birger Koppenhöfer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 54th minute, Notis Valaoras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, one of Borussia Ostermoordorf:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Borussia Ostermoordorf. Joachim Olivier made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Notis Valaoras sent off a good shot on target. When Giorgos Lagos came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Bazellatin F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Giorgos Lagos couldn't finish the play. Adnan Stork sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joachim Olivier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sofoklis Stamatelos in the 71st minute of the match. Adnan Stork scored 1-4 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Charalambos Anastasakos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Borussia Ostermoordorf getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Domenico Kahlert hit a great ball. Joachim Olivier was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lambis Tournas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giorgos Lagos got free with Joachim Olivier in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 85 minutes into the game, Bazellatin F.C.'s Giorgos Lagos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joachim Olivier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Joachim Olivier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sofoklis Stamatelos in the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Borussia Ostermoordorf's goal looked a bit too open when Sofoklis Stamatelos came free, but Joachim Olivier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Bazellatin F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
