Spectators: 7479 (Terracing: 5611, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Henrik Engström started the match with the kick off. Michel Duset made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Giorgos Lagos sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Giorgos Lagos could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Michel Duset however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the Asarum defense, Notis Valaoras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michel Duset. The Asarum fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michel Duset should have stopped the shot. Michel Duset made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sofoklis Stamatelos in the 13th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Bazellatin F.C.'s Sofoklis Stamatelos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Michel Duset. Michel Duset yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 25th match minute, Asarum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Lindsten to maneuver through the defense. Michel Duset didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sofoklis Stamatelos went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After 31 played minutes Asarum got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Engström. Michel Duset was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Sofoklis Stamatelos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sofoklis Stamatelos really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Bazellatin F.C.'s Sofoklis Stamatelos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Michel Duset. That made the score 5-0 after 46 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandros Schizas in the 52nd minute of play forced Asarum's goalkeeper Michel Duset to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th match minute, Asarum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isac Lindkvist to maneuver through the defense. Asarum's Michel Duset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lambis Tournas in the 55th minute of play. Aaron Lindsten kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Giorgos Lagos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Giorgos Lagos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Michel Duset was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Magnus Gunnarsson lost his temper 69 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Magnus Gunnarsson hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Michel Duset showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lambis Tournas, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Notis Valaoras had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michel Duset. Asarum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Notis Valaoras was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Michel Duset showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sofoklis Stamatelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Asarum's goal looked a bit too open when Sofoklis Stamatelos came free, but Michel Duset reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sofoklis Stamatelos took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michel Duset. Michel Duset dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Bazellatin F.C. fully deserved thier win.
