An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Lidström in the 19th minute of play forced EDI MZB's goalkeeper Valdo de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the EDI MZB defense, Elliott Bredberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdo de Queirós. The EDI MZB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdo de Queirós should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Sanches in the 53rd minute of play forced Köping's goalkeeper Jens Bohlin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Köping's goal looked a bit too open when Sidnei Fernandez came free, but Jens Bohlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Valdo de Queirós throw himself and got hold of the ball when Henning Beckeman in the 64thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Jens Bohlin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Machado in the 68th minute of the match. Jens Bohlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Mota in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Tiago Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Bohlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Belmiro Sanches took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jens Bohlin. Jens Bohlin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. When Köping's Elliott Bredberg in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EDI MZB's goalie prevented a goal. Aníbal Velasco missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 97 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Jens Bohlin right hand side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Köping eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
