After a rather tough play, Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Gabriel Alcántara got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute Adnan Stork shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Etxahun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Aerolineas Argentinas FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Clodoveo Ederono hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Quilo in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joachim Olivier saved Borussia Ostermoordorf from getting behind. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borussia Ostermoordorf the free kick. Thanks to some nice moves Raphael Beilmann could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Tomas Etxahun however easily saved by the left post. In the 43rd minute Felix Quilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Olivier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Aerolineas Argentinas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Rehm came free, but Tomas Etxahun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joachim Grebe was the one to do the kick off.
