But to his dismay, Blas Eusko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When Emiliano Lawrence fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 17 de enero team's protests and gave Emiliano Lawrence a yellow card for diving instead. Emiliano Lawrence hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Teodoro Meireles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blas Eusko went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Teodoro Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Dominic, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blas Eusko got free with Teodoro Meireles in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Falcão Gaspar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teodoro Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Benat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Teodoro Meireles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Bandeirinha AD's Renatinho Reis got a free kick in the 66th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Primitivo Dominic in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Meireles saved Bandeirinha AD from getting behind. When João Francisco Leal fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bandeirinha AD's protests and gave João Francisco Leal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of 17 de enero team booed when Bandeirinha AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Francisco Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Eusko in the 83rd minute of play forced Bandeirinha AD's goalkeeper Teodoro Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Primitivo Dominic notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Bandeirinha AD's Teodoro Meireles.
