Aldo Lemme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezar Agusoaei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute Cezar Agusoaei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Lemme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, GiaSiRo 08's Frank Musacchio got a free kick in the 6th minute. Aldo Lemme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cezar Agusoaei's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Frank Musacchio hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Tiberiu Mischie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edoardo Sammartano in the 11th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Cosmin Aluchei got a free kick in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, GiaSiRo 08's Antonio Poletti sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiberiu Mischie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After taking down the ball on GiaSiRo 08's corner Ermanno Alfonsi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tiberiu Mischie quite easily take care of the ball. Tiberiu Mischie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Vulcano, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute of the match GiaSiRo 08 got a corner. FC Politehnica Timisoara's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ermanno Alfonsi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Ermanno Alfonsi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie did a great save. In a very dangerous position, a player in GiaSiRo 08 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Aldo Lemme had in the 20thth minute some difficulties stopping Eric Udup's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 26th play minutes Eric Udup shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Aldo Lemme and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice moves Eric Udup could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Aldo Lemme however easily saved by the left post. Eric Udup hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Aldo Lemme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Strugure in the 39th minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Ermanno Alfonsi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GiaSiRo 08's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermanno Alfonsi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Camillo Nola to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to GiaSiRo 08 getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ermanno Alfonsi hit a great ball. Aldo Lemme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezar Agusoaei in the 56th minute of play. GiaSiRo 08's Aldo Lemme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Udup in the 59th minute of play. Camillo Nola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Emanuel Strugure hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camillo Nola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Mischie having to interfere. Tiberiu Mischie didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 72nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Eric Udup struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Aldo Lemme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Politehnica Timisoara. 78 minutes into the game, one of FC Politehnica Timisoara:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. FC Politehnica Timisoara:s Tiberiu Mischie showed great skill when he stopped Ermanno Alfonsi:s penalty. The excitement rose when GiaSiRo 08's Ermanno Alfonsi after 80 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for FC Politehnica Timisoara's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-2. After 88 played minutes FC Politehnica Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Eric Udup. When Antonio Poletti fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GiaSiRo 08's protests and gave Antonio Poletti a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 played minutes GiaSiRo 08 got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Poletti. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezar Agusoaei in the 96th minute of play forced GiaSiRo 08's goalkeeper Aldo Lemme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Politehnica Timisoara were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
