Spectators: 7503 (Terracing: 5628, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) FC Politehnica Timisoara were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Andrashida's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eric Udup took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Emanuel Strugure to score against Krisztián Pál in Andrashida's goal. 1-0 after 4 minutes. In the 8th minute, Ignác Fejes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of FC Politehnica Timisoara booed when Andrashida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. András Káposztás didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiberiu Mischie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from János Lengyel, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tamás Lázár in the 28th minute of play. Eric Udup could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Krisztián Pál made a huge save. The supporters of FC Politehnica Timisoara booed when Andrashida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szilárd Török didn't get a good kick on the ball. Krisztián Pál was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eric Udup. The audience was convinced that Cosmin Aluchei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Krisztián Pál was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Cosmin Aluchei put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Krisztián Pál. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignác Fejes in the 38th minute of play. Eric Udup took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Krisztián Pál. Krisztián Pál dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Krisztián Pál made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezar Agusoaei in the 42nd minute of play. Tiberiu Mischie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Béla Gerencsér, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when Tamás Lázár made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Andrashida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by János Lengyel to maneuver through the defense. Krisztián Pál didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eric Udup went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yanaki Kulinski during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th minute, Cezar Agusoaei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tiberiu Mischie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignác Fejes, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 72 played minutes, Andrashida's Béla Gerencsér shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tiberiu Mischie came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Andrashida reached it. The audience was convinced that Cezar Agusoaei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Krisztián Pál was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Tiberiu Mischie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignác Fejes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Andrashida's goal looked a bit too open when Cezar Agusoaei came free, but Krisztián Pál reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Krisztián Pál didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Strugure went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the FC Politehnica Timisoara players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
