When Valeriu Bucurescu came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the F.C CLUJ MEDICINA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valeriu Bucurescu couldn't finish the play. 4 minutes into the match, Mădălin Băcila notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Filip Bâru. Filip Bâru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calistrat Potopea in the 12th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valeriu Bucurescu got free with Tiberiu Mischie in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save FC Politehnica Timisoara from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calistrat Potopea in the 21st minute of play forced FC Politehnica Timisoara's goalkeeper Tiberiu Mischie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Aron Melinescu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie. Tiberiu Mischie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie got control of the ball when Aron Melinescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aron Melinescu got free with Tiberiu Mischie in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tiberiu Mischie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriu Bucurescu in the 32nd minute of the match. The supporters of F.C CLUJ MEDICINA booed when FC Politehnica Timisoara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costică Josan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Dragoş Cordescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiberiu Mischie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to FC Politehnica Timisoara getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Cosmin Aluchei hit a great ball. Tiberiu Mischie came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Șerban Rusu. But to his dismay, Șerban Rusu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 47th minute, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Șerban Rusu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tiberiu Mischie. Tiberiu Mischie yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Calistrat Potopea to make the kick off. Tiberiu Mischie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Melinescu in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Aurelian Panțâru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Mischie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Strugure's late challenge caught a F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Strugure helped the player get up and apologised. 59 minutes into the match, Calistrat Potopea notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie. Tiberiu Mischie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62ndth minute of the game Calistrat Potopea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dragoş Cordescu in the 63rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Dragoş Cordescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tiberiu Mischie quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Calistrat Potopea took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tiberiu Mischie. Tiberiu Mischie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. After 75 minutes of play, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Aron Melinescu made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiberiu Mischie was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tiberiu Mischie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Șerban Rusu in the 84th minute of play. Șerban Rusu scored 9-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiberiu Mischie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tiberiu Mischie didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aron Melinescu went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to FC Politehnica Timisoara getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Costică Josan hit a great ball. FC Politehnica Timisoara's Tiberiu Mischie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dragoş Cordescu in the 93rd minute of play. Tiberiu Mischie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calistrat Potopea in the 94th minute of play. Tiberiu Mischie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calistrat Potopea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that F.C CLUJ MEDICINA were the better team. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
