The audience was convinced that Betinho Arce's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romulo Ursino was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. In the 14th minute, Betinho Arce left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Compugraf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Frank Sergipano kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Gonzalo Oliverios charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gonzalo Oliverios the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Compugraf booed when FMArgentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Oliverios didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38thth minute of the game Betinho Arce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FMArgentina's Romulo Ursino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romulo Ursino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Duarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Romulo Ursino made a huge save. Frank Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Romulo Ursino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Caetano Proença hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Kléberson Lara had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Arnulfo Osoitz fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FMArgentina's protests and gave Arnulfo Osoitz a yellow card for diving instead. Compugraf's José Paulo Costa was substituted for Kléberson Lara. If Betinho Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Romulo Ursino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Betinho Arce's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After some careless play in the FMArgentina defense, Betinho Arce kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romulo Ursino. The FMArgentina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Ursino should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute, Betinho Arce made a precise shot to the right of Romulo Ursino. FMArgentina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Compugraf had won after a very even match.
